West Africa is a diverse land of mountainous regions along with many plains. On the western and southern shores the Atlantic Ocean cradles the coast. To the North is the great Sahara Desert. Most life is settled around the rivers and coastal regions. A Popular sport shared by most countries is a game called Oware. Football is also a widely accepted sport and most teams often make it to the World Cup.
Living in most of Africa is a struggle economically. Most of the inhabitants travel to larger cities to make a living when tribal life becomes futile. Occupations of West Africa vary yet it’s home to many farmers, fishermen, nomadic herders and merchants who face challenges from disease and famine.
